other collection device making them virtually “twist-proof” by their unique design.
A retainer tray is provided to keep the catheters round shape while in storage.
Uro-Cath^® II are packaged individually in a window pouch allowing for quick, easy product identification without opening the pouch. The back side of the pouch contains detailed, illustrated, application instructions relative to the product purchased—no “cookie-cutter” or “one fits all” instructions for all products like some similar products have.
As and added measure of security, consider the use of a brush-on medical adhesive such as Uro-Bond^® Brush-On Silicone Adhesive or using the Uro-Strap^® Male External Cathater Strap which could be used in addition to this catheter to provide extra confidence that the catheter will stay in place—it's an economical solution to prevent multiple changes should the catheter not adhere as long as preferred.
